About this Ramen Vegan Shoyu Ramen is a vegan ramen filled with gentle umami flavor. Several vegetables, shitake mushroom, and kombu seaweed are used unsparingly to give the soup an uncompromising rich flavor.
What's special Vegan Shoyu Ramen is a vegan ramen made without any animal-derived products.
Soup The soup is taken by carefully simmering several vegetables with onion as a base. The subtle sweetness and the umami of the individual vegetables fill your palate as you slurp.
The tare is made with koikuchi soy sauce infused with shitake mushroom and kombu kelp to give an extra oomph of umami to the ramen.
Noodles The noodles are high water content flat noodles that pair well with the gentle flavors of vegetables. The flavor oil is enhanced with garlic and ginger that give the veggie oil a mouthwatering flavor. When combined, the tare and oil give the gentle soup a deep and satisfying flavor that makes you want to gulp down the soup with abandon.
Topping For the topping, we use a plant-based protein that’s flavored with various vegetables and homemade miso sauce, a plant-based Niku Miso.
