Hiro has been an avid ramen fan ever since he was young. Before moving to San Francisco, he annually visited around 300 ramen restaurants all around Japan to taste different types of ramen bowls. His love for ramen lead him to study at and graduate from a well-respected ramen school in Japan, where graduates mostly move on to opening successful ramen restaurants around the nation.
HIDEKI "Hyde" KUNIMURA
Hyde was one of the starting chefs of an acclaimed ramen restaurant called AFURI, in Tokyo. He also trained at numerous top ramen restaurants in Tokyo to learn from the best. He later opened his own restaurant in Shinjuku and grew it to success. With 15 years of experience in the ramen industry, Hyde is truly a master ramen chef who has perfected the craft of authentic ramen making.
