When will the ramen be delivered?

We are currently experiencing delays in order processing and delivery due to COVID19. Please expect delivery within 5 - 7 days.  

Normally, for in stock items, we provide two-day shipping and ship Monday through Wednesday. This means that if you complete a purchase on Monday or Tuesday you will receive your ramen that same week. If you make your purchase on Wednesday or later, your ramen will ship out the following week. Once your package ships, please expect delivery within 1 to 2 days.

How is the quality of the food maintained?

We only use the best packaging materials with ice packs to ensure the freshness of the product is maintained until midnight of the day of delivery. Please be sure to place the product in your freezer as soon as you receive it.

How much is shipping?

Orders over $60 ship FREE. Orders under $60 are $9.50 shipping.

What time will the ramen arrive at?

Most orders will be delivered between 9 AM and 8 PM.

What's the serving size?

Each individual kit is one full-size adult serving. The serving size is about 460g, which is about 16.2 oz. The noodles take up 140g or 4.94 oz of the total.

How should I store the ramen and how long does it keep?

Please place the product in your freezer as soon as possible. Generally, our products stay at their freshest for 2 weeks after the day of delivery. However, products may be kept in your freezer for a maximum of 3 months.

What does a meal kit contain?

1 pouch of soup, 1 bag of noodles, 3 to 4 toppings (depending on the item) will be included per serving. The serving size is about 460g, which is about 16.2 oz. The noodles take up 140g or 4.94 oz of the total.

The ramen was not frozen when I opened the package. Can I still eat it?

We would kindly ask you to use your best judgment—a good rule of thumb is to make sure the soup and meat are still cold to the touch. 

Where can I see nutritional information?

We're currently working with a 3rd party lab for detailed nutritional analysis and expect it to be available in Fall. Once ready we will post! 

Are there vegetarian/vegan options?

Coming soon in Fall! We're working on a Vegan Shoyu Ramen filled with gentle umami flavor.

Do you have any gluten-free options?

Currently, we do not have a gluten free ramen kit. As we grow we look forward to expanding our options.

I'm allergic to...?

Some of our products contain egg, soy, wheat, fish, and/or sesame. Ingredients can be seen on each individual ramen kit page. None of our products contain shellfish, crustacean, or peanuts.

Please note that, although we do our best to prevent cross-contamination, we make all of our ramen in a facility where these allergens might be processed. As a result, we do not recommend our products to anyone with severe allergies.

Is it safe to boil the ingredients in the plastic?

Yes, the ingredients are sealed inside BPA free, durable sous-vide bags that can withstand freezing and boiling.

Why so much plastic?

We chose to pack the ingredients individually in sous-vide bags so that you can easily prepare them the way our expert ramen chefs intended. Ramen Hero is an online ramen shop that doesn't have any storefronts. Our products are made professionally in commercial kitchens in the Bay Area and packaged to be delivered to our customers.
